‘That’ll show them': Neighbor forces demanding tenants out of their apartment by reporting to management that 4 people were living in a 1 bedroom apartment

The best kinds of neighbors are neighbors you have absolutely no contact with. The less you engage, the better your relationship will be, which means everyone is happy. What this basically means, is that if every single neighbor would have minded their own business, and kept for themselves, there would be much less neighborhood drama to deal with.

The person who wrote this Reddit story had neighbors who were completely the opposite of the ones described above. They would constantly complain about the noise OP (original poster) was making, even when it was the most mundane, daily tasks like loading the dishwasher or watching TV. At some point, the complaining became too much, and OP decided to report her neighbors to the apartment management since she knew there were too many people living in their apartment for it to be legal. This action made sure they would not disturb her again…
